I'm actually quite surprised by this. I seriously can't see any of the alternatives for the Lions being much better than Printers right now. Isn't Lulay still injured? Is Jackson supposed to be able to pick up the slack?

Davis Sanchez is such a d-bag. Fought with Nik Lewis last week. Went crazy this week vs. WINN, and his stupid penalties contributed to this loss.

The quarterback was released by the club Wednesday in what GM and coach Wally Buono calls a decision made following an embarrassing loss to Winnipeg Monday.
"At the end of the game there was an incident that occurred and that was not something that in my mind or anybody's mind should occur," said Buono. "The lack of confidence also makes it such that was best we parted ways."

Printers was not popular in the Ti-Cat locker-room either. IIRC, Eric Francis tells a story about Printers alienating the whole team in his first 5 minutes in Hamilton.

Sanchez, Simon, & Printers is it any wonder the team stinks with so many jerks in one locker room? Wally is a pretty good coach but he's no miracle worker and you can't win in the CFL when your QB's suck.

The guy is a major pouter and has some of the worst body language in the league when balls aren't getting thrown his way. Lewis and Copeland got a lot of negative press for the way they like to talk but Simon does his share but the difference is that Lewis is a team first guy unlike Simon.
Edit: I noticed he's banned. Figures. Silly Vancouver fans and their delusions on how their star players are class.

tuned into this game after the Flames win (woohoo!)
Wow great finish to the Esks-BC game, Edmonton was up 25-15 with 3 minutes left, BC came back to force OT with a kick from Sean Whyte (who wasn't supposed to be kicking)
OT - BC gets a fieldgoal after recovering their own fumble, then Edmonton marches and gets a touchdown to win. second straight OT loss for BC
so Edmonton is now tied with BC for third, and technically in a playoff spot

Tough loss for the Lions. Edmonton now holds the tie breaker vs the Lions. BC cannot finished tied with the Esks and make the playoffs now. Edmonton now plays the Riders and Bombers to finish the season while the Lions have the Stamps and Riders.

Hamilton owning Montreal right now.
40-3.
I believe Montreal is resting some starts though.

Bombers are doomed.
And they just got called for a horse-collar tackle that was actually a yank on the shoulder pad.

Huge hit on lemon forced the fumble, brink not bad right now.
I missed the first quarter, sounds like Jules got hurt though, bombers have to win to keep their slim slim playoff hopes alive

Neither the Argos or the Bombers have a QB. The Argos will win because of Boyd and Owens. Bombers are just bad.

I understand it's easy to blame the coach but really the Bombers have almost no talent on that team. When was the last time they were decent? 2007?
Example: the Bryant/Franklin trade. Winnipeg got royally ripped off.

I'm not putting all of the blame on the coach, but he's part of the problem.
He gets them to just punt the football and there's a good chance the Bombers are down 5 instead of 12 at the half.
Just a dumb decision from 51 yards out, against the wind as well.

Bombers haven't gotten much luck this year, some bad calls and now have 3 injured qbs

Nobody in the CFL should be kicking 50+ yarders because the kickers suck and probably better than 50/50 it's going to be run back for a TD with all thw fat guys on the field. Especially at the end of the half.
Jules getting hurt was on kind of a dumb play too. He was scrammbling and he had made the first down by a mile, so SLIDE! We see Burris slide all the time. But nooo he has to put his head down for that extra yard because there a big difference being on the 45 instead of the 46! and got his right hand crushed by a helmet.
It's bad coaching.
