He was pitching outside, and probably got caught "aiming" and pulled it. The mound visit contributed. They should have walked him or trusted him, instead they iced him.

Walker went out to the mound before the Ohtani at bat. They usually map out pitches in those visits. Was fastball down the middle what Walker told him to throw?

Didn't you hear Buck say 5 times you gotta attack him if your pitching to him?

This also mean if we take the lead Ohtani gets up again in the 9th.

That inning did more damage than just a run to tie the game.

I don’t know why we didn’t bring in someone to shut down their best hitters. If we walk Otani and then get three straight outs we’re facing 4-9 in the 8th and 9th.

This is the exact same mistake the Mariners made against the Jays in game seven. Should’ve brought in Hoffman or Bassett.

Massive mistake

Surely they walk him in the bottom of the 9th if it's a walk off situation.

He didn't mean serve a meatball down the middle.

He meant throw strikes but not in his wheelhouse.

Well he’s the first guy In modern history to have 4 extra base hits .

If it’s not the best it’s sure on the short list

Yup. Mound visit messed up his rhythm imo. Surely didn't do anything good because the next pitch was an absolute tater.

Aren't Kirk's world series numbers better so far? 6 rbi's, 2 hr. Vs 3 hr 5 rbi's for Ohtani.

Ok another error let’s take advantage of it. The Jays offense has to outplay its own manager at least one playoff game per series.
