Materials are as follows.
At street level: Natural stone veneer (split face in some areas and honed in others), curtain wall storefront glazing, solid phenolic wood grain clad columns with stone base
The ice: Aluminum composite metal panel bone white (matte, satin and gloss depending on the region)
The space between ice and fire: Profiled metal panel in charcoal
The fire: Aluminum composite panel silver metallic, aluminum extrusion silver reflective curved or straight [the fins]
Parkade: Perforated metal panel with custom graphics
Plans look cool.
But why couldn't they have the washrooms with an entry door and a separate exit door. Maybe there are so many other washrooms it doesn't matter but this seems like such an easy fix to get people in and out much more efficiently.

I'm not sure what makes you think they're not doing that. It looks like all the washrooms have two doors on them, close to each other. It only makes sense for one to be an entrance and one to be an exit. Having both be entrances and exits would be chaos.

Womens washroom appears to have 2 doors.
Mens does not.... oh wait... enhance... ENHANCE!!!! Some sort or partition (likely removable) is shown.

Crisis averted. We can pee in peace.
That divider is probably in there to make extra womens bathrooms as needed. There are event like figure skating when the dome turns some mens bathrooms to womens because of the demographics.

Yeah, I think that partition is likely a sliding door so they can convert those to women's rooms for concerts that draw a largely female audience. It looks like all the urinals are on one side of the partition, and the other side is only stalls.
That's a better solution than what they do in the Saddledome, which is just close off an entire men's room.

Did they show Weegar the new Flames dressing room renderings?
Need his seal of approval since he got the Flames the new building.
Weegar approved!

I don't think the Flames are thinking three years and done for a rebuild. I wouldn't fuss the arena opening date as some sort of a break in plan date.
Guys like Francis keep saying 3 to 5 years, as an example.
I think the key is to have progression in the next 36 months so that there is hope and excitement around where they are going. They don't have to host a playoff game the spring of 28.

It would be a complete miracle if the the rebuild was deemed complete in three years. its been said before many times that there is likely one or two more years until we completely bottom out yet then the build will begin in earnest. At that point, there will be many points of inflection that will change the course one way or another, 5 to 7 years is more likely
