These back to backs sneek up on me, normally I see something which reminds me but not yesterday. Roll will last week, it has just as much chance of getting some right as anything.
I do wonder if one picked a single finishing order at the start of the year, which was used for all races, how you'd fair.

This track can be deleted from the calendar.
Gross to go from Silverstone to the garbage that is the Red Bull Ring.

Red Bull Ring is a top 10 track on the calendar and regularly produces excellent races.
Silverstone is, without question, the most overhyped track on the calendar, despite the excellent race we got this year.

Great race with a lot of action. That midfield battle with 5 cars up and through turn 3 was incredible. Watching Haas in the mix was great. Seeing Sainz's motor literally blow was crazy and then him not being able to get out of the car quickly due to it rolling back and the slow action of the stewards was intense.

I’m not happy we’re gonna see 6 of them next year.

I think they should be part of the championship, but happen on Fridays and have no bearing on the rest of the grand prix weekend. Which could open up some more creative ways of setting the sprint grid (though my ideal is still 30 min FP1 immediately turning into single lap quali).

Updated standings!
FurnaceFace takes top spot this week with his first missed set of picks! Funny how often that's happened. 2/10 slot and 8 top 10. Fuzz and Btimbit tie for 2nd with 2/10 slot and 7 top 10.
FurnaceFace also closes the gap to woob in top spot by 8pts. Only 14 back now! DFO and TimSJ are within 2pts for 3rd.
Icon...this was your 3rd set of missed picks. So its a goose egg this week.
Speed5...two misses
3thirty...two misses
Jepworth...one miss
dammage79...one miss
FurnaceFace...one miss

Yeah I completely forgot the race was this weekend, whoops.
I'll just bow out for this year, missed this for the first couple weeks entirely so was an uphill battle from the start. Have fun fellas!
Watched some of the highlights and looked like at least parts of this one were entertaining, nice to have that a couple weeks in a row after some snoozers!

How sweet would the max grandstand be in Austria?
Not only would you have to deal with drunken hooligans trying to fight any non-Max fans and a bunch of pigs sexually harassing women but this would be your view for the first 5 laps.

When I was at Spa I scalped a ticket in the Verstappen grandstand and was a bit intimidated sitting there in my Ferrari red but everyone was cool and having fun. The smoke was a bit annoying but I appreciated the enthusiasm.

It sounds like the situation was not pleasant this weekend. Lots of reports of harassment and fighting. Several teams and F1 had to release statements and the venue had to increase security.

This is interesting. McLaren announced they signed 2021 Indycar champ Palou to a contract. But they didn’t say anything about the series.
They also announced it after Ganassi said he would be in Indycar in 2023
