Now do one on that insufferable blowhard Joy Behar. Watching her for 10 minutes helps me understand why people hate the left.

I'm not an avid 'View' watcher (that's a strange combination of words side-by-side), but if you decide to tune in on any given morning you're likely to see Behar talk over people for the sole purpose of insulting Trump and Republicans. It adds absolutely nothing to society other than to rile up those that share her view and further entrench the split between the left and right.
I'm confused why this seems to matter so much to you. Neither McCain nor Behar are shining examples of their respective political ideologies, and are in fact doing more damage to the socio-political landscape than good. I'm not sure why anyone would find this debatable.
Are you a Behar fan? Or is it because it is a perceived slight towards the left that has you out of sorts?

I'm not duff, but reading your exchange very much smells of the 'all sides, many sides' whataboutism that is used against the left often without any sort of justification. I actually think you are right about Behar having watched just enough of the show to know she is a blowhard. But if you are going to try and change the subject you should at least back up your position with some examples if requested.

You seem to watch the view plenty.
Anyways, the bold parts, are you talking about them talking about things like obsessing about his mistake of Alabama getting hit by tornado, and all of his lies and sharpie altered maps trying to cover it up?
Those sort of things? Real life kind of things?
If you want to hear about socialism etc. You should watch faux

Let’s try again, you understand why people hate the left, can you elaborate just a little? I’m curious.
I grew up playing DOOM as a kid, and Grand Theft Auto as a teen, but all the violence in video games were pure fantasy to me, there was no parallel to real life. I wonder if that would have been different though if I had grown up in a household with a bunch of AR-15's in a display case, or had parents who open carried. When guns are so common in your every day life, it must be a lot easier to imagine yourself doing the shooting in games and movies
Of course its fantasy.
Why would the presence of firearm cause you do go on a rampage after playing DOOM?
I imagine your parents had a car in the driveway that they used daily. Did you ever have the urge to take it and mow down pedestrians after a round of GTA?

Too much actually, too much. The un-benefits of the unemployed, I suppose. Feel I should revise 'avid viewer' to specify 'not a fan'.

I'm not talking about anything in particular. I'm generalizing to make a point.

Sure, qualify my statement.
Watching her talk over someone to make a quick Trump insult, or disregard a conservative opinion in a condescending and dismissive way, most of the time to just get a filmable reaction from the audience, is insufferable. It's embarrassing me as a liberal person.
With a small measure of empathy it should not be difficult to comprehend how her rhetoric can make otherwise minded individuals hate it. I'm on her side most of the time and it drives me up the wall.
Though, it may not totally be her owning since TV demands stereotypes.

But, if she is the reason that enlightens you to people hating libs, go with it.
Oh, and maybe Diamond and Silk are more your thing., give em a try

Thanks, but it didn't require fixing. I'm comfortable with my opinion and how I stated it. This conversation never really led anywhere so I'm also fine concluding it.

It should be tough to watch. That's its job. That ad is up there with the New Zealand "Slow Down" ad and the NFL's domestic abuse ad as one of the biggest gut punches I've ever seen in a PSA.
