Donated $100 to the Red Cross. Would do more if I had it, but it's all the spare cash I have right now.

Sure hope hes not using this disaster to make a quick buck. Just a reminder to all to donate to red cross or an organization you're absolutely sure about as there are some real ******s that come out the woodwork during times like these.

Satellite update:
Contrary to what I thought before, these aren't update every hour. There are 2 satellites with 24 hour re-visit time so you get a morning and I think late afternoon image, with processing delay it looks like the morning one comes in at around 1:30.
There are new outbreaks just north of Anzac-3km north(the darkest red) and directly east. The east ones are 5km northeast of the Long Lake facility(just south of the airplane icon). There is also a new patch far to the NE.
Not much new near High Level, just a couple patches south fo the main outbreak.

Donated $200 to the Red Cross. Paying it forward for the help they gave me during the High River flood of 2013. Can't say enough good things about that organization.

Not lucky enough to live in Canada and I have never been to Fort McMurray but your country and Alberta has a special place in my heart so I donated $50 to the red cross of Canada, wish I could do more.
Thoughts are with those whose lives have been turned upside down by this but I am sure that they will come out the other side, like Calgary did after the floods.
Keep strong Alberta you are not alone in this.

The first rule of Clock Club is that one does not merely purchase one's way into Clock Club!
Wait, actually thats exactly how it works. Carry on!

I've just done the same, felt I had to do something.
My Dad worked in Fort McMurray in the 70s and really loved the place. He has more than a couple of good drinking stories.
I'm really touched by how Albertans are looking after one another again. In amongst the obvious tragedy and pain, there is a lot of pride and care.
