I didn't see the match, but Tomic retired after losing the first set 6-2 and down 0-3 in the second set (total match time just under 37 minutes).

Goffin does indeed knock off #3 seed Stan Wawrinka - If Milos can get by Berdych, he's got a much easier path to the final with no Murray nor Wawrinka in his half of the draw.
