Well the first thing he is going to do is spend lots and lots of money way beyond our means. I have no idea why so many people are okay with this....

Glad to see Kent Hehr standing up against the conservatives. If he loses, I hope he doesn't take it sitting down.

I really wish there were somewhere I could see which neighbourhoods are still uncounted. Makes a big difference whether it's Killarney or Elbow Park.

Like I said, non-confidence voting should be abolished so that terms are always 4 years long.

Almost 74% voter turnout in the Foothills riding even though it was always going to go to John Barlow.

The fluctuations have been unpredictable recently. Hehr would gain a few hundred, then lose them back shortly after. Spread has been between +1,500 for Crockatt to +600 for Hehr. No one has broken away.

Grant is still almost 1300 back with 215 of 233 reporting. Hard to imagine Weber isn't the winner at this point.

That is impressive, as is the margin of victory...there must be some polls in some smaller centres where they know the 8 people who didn't vote Conservative...it is that massive a victory.

I expect that Trudeau will get someone else to do most of the talking in those situations. One thing about Trudeau is that he seems to be willing to let other people do the things he's not good at.

Maybe I am cynical, but the other parties were going to do this anyway. I don't find it as comforting to be lied to.

Harper already did that
Quote:
Prime Minister Stephen Harper had a blunt message for Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday, as they crossed paths at a private retreat for G20 leaders in Australia.
The message: “Get out of Ukraine.”
Both Harper and Putin arrived in Brisbane Friday night, ahead of the G20 Summit.
According to Harper’s director of communications Jason MacDonald, Harper was chatting with a couple of other world leaders at the retreat when Putin entered the room.
MacDonald said Putin reached out to shake the prime minister’s hand, as he approached Harper and the others.
Harper acknowledged his Russian counterpart, saying: “I guess I’ll shake your hand, but I only have one thing to say to you: you need to get out of Ukraine.”
“Putin did not respond positively,” MacDonald told Canadian reporters.
