Ovechkin is so good.

He had 9 shots in game one of the year, and now he has another 9 tonight. Crazy.

edit - make that 11 shots tonight.

One of the best things Brent Sutter did was develop Backlund into a very good 2 way/ PK'n center.

Nice strategy to play the diamond instead of the box on the PK and have a bit more coverage up high and for the one-timer along the wall.

Backs looks like he could very well become a Daymond Langkow type center for us. Someone that can put up 50-60 points and be good at both ends of the ice.
