Amazing game, how did the conferences all do for the final bowl records this year?

Honestly shut up with the famous rapist ####.

He's a 20 year old kid and who knows what happened in that situation and the police investigation came back with nothing.

Your classless posts are ruining a good thread about an amazing game.

Now those who hate the SEC got their wish in a 'playoff' that will suck big time.

oh well, D1a football will never be the same with a playoff

did you read the police report? it was a hack job to say the least.

He was a 20 year old dumb ass that doesn't take no for an answer. It's okay, just like his buddy Rapelessberger he will do it again and hopefully he doesn't get away with it then.

Despite losing its two BCS games, the SEC went 7-3. The Pac-12 went 6-3.

Lol Winston won't be a NFL qb. Guy looks lost, and doesn't seem very smart.

Oh ... hmm. I guess the Alabama (obviously) Georgia and Auburn losses just stick out more. I though the SEC did horribly this year.

Not doubting that he isn't the brightest guy in the world but just think that calling a 20 year old kid a rapist when nothing was ever proven is harsh and doesn't belong on this forum.

As somebody who has seen an innocent person get accused of rape, being proven innocent and then having to see them try to live with that label it doesn't sit right. I think back to how the Duke lacrosse team was labeled too and how that all worked out.

Trash him all you want about his attitude and arrogance but IMO the rapist thing is past the line and doesn't belong on CP.

Sorry, my mom was raped and the POS was never charged! I read the police report and anyone with a braincell can see that it was a hack job and he should be behind bars.

Sorry to hear that, I wish that any rapist would burn and rapists truly are the scum of the earth.

Just don't like the labelling of a 20 year old as a rapist when there really is a lot of grey in the situation on both sides.

Barely watch NCAA football but love football, that was an amazing game. Hats of to both these teams. That Auburn RB is goood.

Jameis Winston clearly read Ray Lewis' book "Saying Things That Sound Motivational But Are Really Just Nonsense."

Seriously. Then when they interviewed that defensive player on the stage ... I thought we were being punked.

True but their best win was against the 3rd place Big 12 team. Not quite as top heavy as in recent years, more like middle heavy. I also believe the Pac 12's best bowl win was against the Big 12 4th place team. So while they won a bunch of bowls against crappy teams, they couldn't win against good teams.

PS not saying Big 12 was better than those 2 just the records look a lot different when you only count bowls/wins that were actually against good teams.

I'm not a big conference superiority guy. I mean the Big 10 was mostly a joke, but I would give Michigan State a pretty good chance against either team last night. The ACC had a sub .500 bowl record, but does it matter when they went 2-0 in the BCS?

Anyways with more time to reflect its pretty eerie how similar last night was to the 2006 Rose Bowl. TD scored in the same endzone as Vince Young; less than 20 seconds left; dethrowning the king (USC then, SEC now); formerly great program returns to glory; likely future NFL coach on the losing sidelines. And I'd imagine that fake punt will find its place in FSU lore. The ballsiest thing about it to me is it was an obvious fake situation. Yet even despite it being an obvious fake situation, they still called it and executed it perfectly.

Yeah it really sucks that next year we could go from Florida State-Auburn right to Michigan State-Florida State rather than from Florida State-Auburn to...next September.

Who says michigan state? We would have a train wreck of a discussion about number four. What if Stanford is four, wins and plays Alabama in the final. That would so much more legitimate.

Hope you enjoyed your night last night.

Your truly,

The system you and many others will learn wasn't all that bad.
