Apparently you spent so much time trying to make that joke up that you missed the "Read the full story" link under the video.

Apparently you didn't read the part that said I was at work so I didn't click to try and watch a video.

Sportsnet just sent out an email saying they have "multiple sources" that say the Coyotes will be moved to Winnipeg after the playoffs.

It has been far too quiet lately for something not to be happening behind the scenes.

I am glad this saga will come to an end soon. It will, right?? Right???

Multiple sources reporting, including Sportsnet radio, that once playoffs are over that Phx will turn on the 'Jets' and head to Wpg..

Sportsnet Radio FAN 590's Doug MacLean and Nick Kypreos were informed by multiple sources that the Phoenix Coyotes will relocate back to Winnipeg once the team is eliminated from this year's playoffs.

I went to the Coyotes vs Sharks game on April 8th and must say that I was surprised by the atmosphere in the building. Its too bad they are moving as I go to Phoenix quite often and its a cool experience to catch a game down there. That whole Westgate area outside the arena is cool.

Some Sportsnet clarification:

RealKyper Nick Kypreos For the record I was told the Pho deal to keep team is "all but dead" and an announcement "could" come as soon as their play-off run is over

As usual, nothing is official until I hear it from TSN

It's been very quiet. If there was to be good news to keep the team in PHO, this would be the time to do it since their in the playoffs as you want to encourage fans that they'll be sticking around.

FWIW TSN Radio in Toronto was running with this story as well.

He further stated that Gary had told him the 'decision' to move them was not going to be made until sometime later in the month, he then slaped his forehead and exclaimed

If any truth to this, I wonder what is in the works with respect to the Thrashers.

Glendale, they have a rink and everything, therefore it can't fail.

Of course the NHL is going to deny this. It's terrible news when you're trying to sell playoff tickets. They were probably hoping to keep things quiet until after.

Detroit fans: If you can't stay away, please wear white

Regrets? We have a few. By stumbling down the stretch and leaving numerous points on the table, [ coughed up home-ice advantage and slid into a sticky first-round playoff series against Detroit.
As always, the opponent and the task feels enormous.
So, a plea to all fans living in the Valley:

If you must go to the games in Arizona, please wear white. We don't want outsiders thinking we can't sell out After all we've been through - from bankruptcy hearings to relocation threats - the last thing we need is more national embarrassment.

A sea of red at Jobing.com Arena would do just that.

If you're a Detroit fan who otherwise cheers for the Coyotes, understand what this does to your second-favorite team, and how deflating it must be to take the ice for a playoff game and hear:
"Let's go Red Wings!"

By the way, that chant broke out at a Valley restaurant Monday morning.
Yep, it's starting already. And in the end, the have no one to blame but themselves
