Half the names would apply to Alberta more than they would to Utah. Glaciers, Blizzard, Ice, Caribou, Freeze, Frost, Powder, etc.

Somewhat surprised they're going into next season with just the name UTAH on their sweaters. Its going to look goofy but probably win people over and feels like the kind of NHL oddball story in the making where they make the finals.

Of the options listed I'd go with Yeti.
Isn't great, but it's fine, and more unique than some of the others.
Weird decision to not sort it out quickly and do a year just as "UTAH". They'll either have a year of little to no merchandising, or end up with a weird mix of UTAH stuff and whatever the new name, colors, etc are afterwards.

They should just stay as UTAH.
Go with one name like Prince, Madonna or Beyonce.
Instead of introducing " playing for your Utah ..."
it would just be
"PLAYING FOR UTAH ..."

Some marketing company getting paid a lot of money undoubtedly put together a convincing presentation of why they need to stretch this contract out to be a year and a half instead of 4 months. There's really no logical reason why it should take very long at all.
