Too bad it's a bit of a pain to buy their stock from over here haha.

Just picked this game up from the library and it is awesome! Where was the hype? I had never even heard of it. Some of the best Series X graphics I have seen.

Those who knew about it were excited... The game is a ton of fun and like you said, looks amazing.

Yeah Stray was quite different than what I'd expected.. I was hoping for / expecting an open world cat simulator like WhiteTiger, but it's a lot more directed and focused and story driven.
I enjoyed it a lot, worth playing IMO.

The long wait for the sequel probably hampered some of the hype, and there really hasn't been a big Warhammer 40K game since the glory days of Dawn of War and Space Marine 1. But SM2 did get a lot of acclaim after release and hopefully kick-start a new era for 40K games.

SM3 is already in development
If you haven't caught the Secret Level episode, or the Astartes YouTube shorts... They are great as well.

Agreed. They got the vibe right; feels slower paced than Valhalla, in a way that matches the setting.
I'd recommend going into Settings and changing Music Frequency to High. And putting the difficulty on Expert. The stealth is so good in Shadows that normal setting feels too easy.
My only gripe with Expert is it makes some clearly laid out stealth routes they wanted you to take to an assassination kill in some missions to not work, as they'll spot you before you can do it (maybe just temporarily set difficulty to Normal on those missions). Aside from that, Expert makes it much more enjoyable, and realistic feeling.

I've never played a warhammer game, didnt know anything about it, thought it was something totally different....so I guess Im just not hip to the franchise. Really enjoying it though

My 7 year old has been asking for Minecraft for a long time so I bought it on PC.
We killed some cows and sheep, built the pickaxe, sword, crafting table, a mud hut and bed... What next? What do people do in this game?

That's what great about Minecraft: you can do whatever you think is fun to you.
Do you like exploring? You have an infinite map to explore. Grab a boat and bed and go wild. There's lots of cool features hiding in the world. Go spelunking in caves or swimming in the ocean. There's villages all over the place, and unique structures in each biome.
Do you like building things? Try getting materials and start building something. Lots of people start by re-creating things they know well like a famous structure in their city, but you can just do whatever you feel like. One time I built a lighthouse in the middle of nowhere because I thought it looked like a cool spot to put one. No particular reason other than it was fun.
Do you want to "beat" the game? Start exploring, get achievements, and use the hints in the achievement window to figure out how to get to the endgame. It's not easy but it's a pretty cool experience.

Fanatical Bundle with the Witness for cheap. Tons of hours to riddle your brain, definitely messed up how I saw the world after playing it a long while back.

Finished Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, pretty satisfied with it. Apparently I didn't play honourable enough though because
Kind of a jarring disconnect from the rest of the game.
But otherwise good ending to a good game, one of the better ones I've played in a while. I was even ok with just being overpowered since I could just focus on the story and not have to worry about every fight.
