Looks like Grilli can't hold his emotions in when he gets too worked up. Both pitches right down the centre trying to blow it past guys. This is the majors. Blowing it right down the centre doesn't work.

The only possible upside to this is Gibbons waking up and moving Grilli down in the bullpen. He really hasn't been very good for awhile and the Blue Jays have three better relievers than him that are behind him in the rotation.

Grilli walks too many guys and gives up way too many homers to be just given clean innings. He'd be much better utilized trying to strand guys earlier in the game with his ability to strike guys out.

Hopefully.

Benoit should clearly be the 8th inning guy, and Biagini should get the 7th inning if needed.
