I don't think anyone can be upset with Mariah May situation. Mariah got over with the fans and AEW did the smart thing and pushed her to the moon. Mariah then took the starpower she created with her own chutzpah and AEW marketing and leveraged it into her dream job.

Tony proved he can make a new star (something that he has struggled with outside) and Mariah May got her dream job.

WWE is getting ripped apart by most fans right now on Twitter after announcing WrestleMania is going back to Vegas.

Going back to New Orleans was bad enough. They should have picked a city that hasn't had it in a while if ever.

Yeah even just going New Orleans for 42 and then Vegas for 43 would have been kind of lame but to do back to back is just stupid. But TKO execs and Kahn loved it being near the head offices.

Not sure if wwe changed plans or if we were just all worked, assuming it was a woek

I like Solo Sikoa. He was easily the most entertaining part of the Men's MiTB

I Don't think El Grande Americano is Chad Gable. If you look at their nipples, they are not the same.

Great Raw last night! I feel bad for Jey and his short title reign, but booking wise it makes sense to put the title back on Gunther. Ratings were down, and Uso is more of a live attraction. He had his title reign, and was always going to be a transitional champion. I wonder if Jimmy and Jey get inserted back in Bloodline business at some point.

I'm also really curious to see what direction they're going with Killings/Truth. His promo last night was edgy/erratic. I would hope they give Killings his own booking prowess. Just let him do whatever he wants, heel or face it makes no difference. Just let him embrace his crazy side and target anyone at complete random. Like a serial killer of sorts, it doesn't need to make sense with Killings involved.

I think there are two El Grande Americano's

Sometimes it's Chad, sometimes it's not, that will be the twist eventually.

Yeah it's going to be hypocritical of Punk for sure...but everyone has a price.

Yep, I didn't think it was going to happen. I wonder how much it cost to get him to sell it out. Will be interesting to see if his political twitter slants change at all or even disappear going forward here.

Company Man Punk is here.

I really like the Smarky angle that Cena is forcing Punk to wrestle him in Saudi Arabia.
That said, no matter how you spin it, Punk looks bad... Unless he says some dangerous #### to the crowd.

I wonder if taking the title off Jey allows him to work a few shows against Cena.

I also wonder if Jey was just hurt.

He's looked pretty beat up the last couple weeks, especially at MITB.

I don't think the guy has taken much time off going back to the lead into WM39 but maybe I'm forgetting.

Edit: Looking at CageMatch and dude has been a workhorse for them for 3 years now with very little breaks. Lots of dark matches and live shows too.

Obviously, Hangman still shouldn't have gone into business for himself, but you kind of start to think that maybe there's some truth to some of criticisms leveled at Punk before, during, and after his time there.

Was just about to say... Punk backpedaling on his Saudi stance just to go there and lose to John Cena? Something about this doesn't pass the smell test...

Unless of course it's just about a big fat payday. It's the only way it makes sense.

I think that it's against Cena makes it even worse. That's a match they could have saved for Summerslam, in front of a hot crowd, in a bigtime pro wrestling city. Instead they sold it for a huge payday to put in front of a lukewarm Saudi audience.

Lol, no.

What Hangman and the Bucks did was some of the dumbest #### I've ever seen. They essentially set their company back massively because they were upset they were getting outshone by a guy they wanted to bring in. They went into business for themselves out of jealousy and I'll stand by that. Their alleged "issues" with Punk haven't even begun to appear in WWE, who by all accounts from within the company has mended a lot of bridges he burnt in the past all while being incredibly helpful to those around him.

That being said, Punk taking the money is super disappointing because I figured he'd be the one guy to never cave.... but Sami caved and I also didn't think he would ever do a Saudi show either. I'm searching for what possibly could have changed his mind... beyond the money. You desperately hope when it's someone who you respected for their convictions that it was more than just money.

Easy there, dissentower.

It also wasn't just the Bucks and Hangman who had issues with Punk. Punk also acted like a jackass in the scrum prior to the fight with the way he went after Colt Cabana. He had issues with plenty of people in the locker room beyond just those three as well (Mox, Jericho, Perry, Ryan Nemeth, etc.). Cody also pretty clearly had issues with him in the past.

At some point, if you continue to have issues with a wide swath of your co-workers, it's a sign that you might be the common denominator.

The Perry situation has been run back and forth so much, if you blame Punk for that then so be it, but all tied back the Elite (not including Omega) wanting their biggest draw out of the company. Ryan Nemeth was told by people to go provoke Punk, so that him and Punk had issues isn't shocking. That also ties back into the bull#### with the Elite (not including Omega).

Mox wanted Punk to have a match while not medically cleared. Cody is too diplomatic to let any issues with anyone ever stop him from making money. Cody is going to be one of the best wrestling execs in history when he wants it. Jericho was upset he wasn't the most well known name to the normies anymore. The difference between these three and the first two and the elite is these guys would have worked with Punk at the drop of a hate to make those big big dollars. They wouldn't have kept provoking him. They'd have been adults and done the work. Punk has always been contentious, no one can deny that. No one can deny he was his own worst enemy when it comes to just controlling his emotions. But to not acknowledge that the Elite kept poking the bear for no reason whatsoever is silly-billy stuff. He was their biggest draw. He clearly wanted to be there before brawl-out. He even wanted to be there once Collision started. Why antagonize him?

Which is what has made his WWE even more impressive to me. No issues. But now that pendulum has gone too far for me...
