Edit: Media on eggshells, Principe might as well as held his hand while gently asking why Connor was he was upset. It was a hockey play when he crosschecked a player in the head apparently.

That video is amazing, if only that it reminded me that Glen Gulutzan and that space cadet confused look of pure trepidation and uncertainty is with the Oilers. My god, those were some bleak times when he was running the Flames.
I remember how Guletzan did everything he could to slow Flames zone entries to a trickle, and I'm looking forward to him doing that to McDavid.

Even in a brutal loss, mcpowerplay is still as lifeless as wet cardboard. Principe looked afraid to speak. Excuse me Mr. Mcdavid sir, may I speak?

Woodcroft bitching about the clearest kick in goal is rich considering the call against the Flames that lead to the oilers winning the series.
And considering their second goal probably shouldn’t have counted considering the clear trip/interference on the goalie behind the net to allow Pissy an empty net.
Edmonton whining about the refs in any game is ridiculous.
You'd think they'd be grateful enough to be carried to the second round through endless PPs, but here we are. When one of their wonder twins are injured they've got nothing going for them. And I am still of the opinion Draisaitl isn't half the player he is without McDavid.
I mean...even when he's trying to mix it up in a scrum he looks uncomfortable like he doesnt belong there.
What must his conversations with Draisaitl even be like?
"We need to be tough guys! But we're not tough guys. No...no, we're not. But we can act like tough guys tho! And then the actual tough guys will show up to bail us out!! Eventually..."
McDavid took a penalty which, lets be honest, should have been about his third? They let him get away with a lot.
We've said this a million times and its infuriating that the Flames never do it consistently, but lay the body on McDavid and Draisaitl.
They're not Iginla...you're not going to 'wake them up' they fall apart.

Getting 9 top 10 picks (4 of which were 1st overall) in a 10 year time-span and still having as bad of defense and goaltending as the Oilers have is quite a feat of incompetence

Edmonton is playing like us....shoot from the perimeter, no traffic in front nobody playing with balls it looks really familiar when we aren't winning.
Zero confidence on that team ...Zero.
Lastly....holy are the Canucks playing well. If they stay healthy they could be dangerous.
