Jays now with 7 players with 20+ homeruns. Anyone know if that's a record or close to? Upton's has an asterisk however as most of his were with the Padres before the trade.

Almost an afterthought in this, but it shouldn't be. Two straight wins against New York pretty much puts the dagger in their season (mathematically alive still). After years of their dominance over Toronto, to stick it to them 2 years in a row is pretty special.

Huge win especially coupled with that Tigers loss.

Twins lead early over the Mariners.

Go Twins, Dbacks and Angels.

Is that 3 straight shutouts of the Yankees?

It would be nice if the Red Sox started to lose. Division is a bit of a pipe dream still but still, lose for god sakes.

Did Porcello win again?

Edit: I see that he did. Fart.

Orioles won but the Mariners lost and the Astros are down 3 runs in the top of the 9th.

Edit - make that 4 runs down and counting

Stroman seems to have turned things around. 4-5 good starts in a row from him now. The whole rotation has been solid again lately actually.

Does this starting rotation give anyone else hope that maybe, just maybe the Jays can compete for a wild card spot again next season?

^^ oh absolutely, this is a very solid rotation next year. Any team would be competitive with these starting 5.

It's early, but KC up 4-0 on Detroit. Hopefully that loss last night rattled the Tigers.

Estrada in trouble here in the 2nd.

1 out with the bases loaded.

Could sure use a ground ball right at someone. A strike out would be better though as the hitter has wheels.

If the Yankees don't push a run accross here, they may feel like they'll never score.
