Enjoy it. I was offered tickets as well for this game, but I hate crowds that big and i am not a fan of tennessee at all (tho i am cheering for them today against all odds), nor do I care for orange as a color.
Should be a beautiful day as well if the weather is the same 90 miles away as it is here. Bright blue skies with plenty of sunshine....tho it will be dark by kickoff, a great day for tailgating!!

It always cracks me up watching ND play Navy...200 players with gold helmets on.
Looks like both ND and Sparty in trouble early on....tho Mich. St. should be able to settle down and get things going.

Texas getting rolled at home for the 2nd time this year by a FAR inferior opponent...yet they are still in the top 20 going in to today. One of the most inherent flaws of the rating system shows itself again, pre-conceived beliefs. This team should be no where near the top 20 in the entire nation but because they are "Texas" and won a game against nebraska they are right there.
I mean seriously... UCLA and Iowa State? A combined 6-8 starting the day...and they both steamroll the horns in Austin. Unreal.

And as i post that the Horns score to make it a 16 pt deficit...going for 2. And make it.
28-14...texas were 26 point favorites.

Texas plays like the Stampeders!
West Virginia close to losing too, they need a winning TD drive with abour 3 minutes to go.

Talk about bad time management.. West Virginia got the ball down 5 at their own 30 with nearly 6 minutes left. Now they're on the Syracuse 20 with only 53 seconds left, where did all the time go?
If they had gone super fast they could have had 2 possessions, spend the 3 timeouts wisely and maybe kick 2 FGs to win.
Now they might run out of time, amazing.
-----
EDIT: QB gets crushed on 4th and 22, game over.

ISU had lost their last 2 games by a combined 120-27...and they roll into Austin and knock off the "powerhouse" Longhorns by a TD.
unbelievable.

I understand that...as Berman says "thats why they play the games".
But to anyone with a bit of understanding, Texas had absolutely no business being ranked as one of the top 20 teams in the nation....they just arent very good.
I enjoy seeing the huge underdogs pulling one out most of the time, but i am in the minority in that i believe. Really hoping to see Mizzou knock off another #1 this week, though I have my doubts.

Three pretty good games going on now with ranked teams
Wisconsin scores late to go up 31-30 on Iowa with 1 Min left (3 TO's left for Iowa) Edit: Badgers win.
LSU and Auburn tied 17-17
Nebraska is hanging half-a-hundred on Okie St 51-34 with 5-ish left, but this was close until the 4th when the Corn pulled away

I like the underdog winning! I think most people like seeing huge underdogs winning. That's probably how the word underdog was invented!

Iowa totally blew it. Didn't get a TD when they intercepted the ball on the opponents 25, then gave up a fake punt for a 1st down then another 4th down play for a first down then a TD. THen they were close to FG range when the coach screwed up the clock.
I finally know now why coaches in the NFL can't manage the clock properly. It's because they learn to be terrible at it in college ala Mr. Les Miles!

So Nebraska and Auburn both win, two more undefeated teams go down.

Missouri runs the opening kickoff back for a TD, forces OU into a 3 and out and then promptly fumbles the punt and gives OU great field position.
Not good for Mizzou.

True freshman Kenny Stills for the TD. 7-7 in Columbia.
Oklahoma is young. They are going to be very, very good next year.

Mizzou's Trey Hobson (#21) a defensive back, lost his cousin today. He was murdered on his way to Columbia to watch Trey play.
Local kid. Sounds like a wrong place, wrong time kind of thing. Haven't heard it mentioned on the broadcast and I don't really know if Hobson is a prominent player on Missouri's D.

They briefly mentioned it in the pregame show.
