Just watched the first episode of the new season. I couldn't finish it. It didn't even seem like the same show. Weird camera work, jokes that require forced delivery. Unbelievable.

Yup. Episode 2 is alot more vintage Community though so don't give up. It's a lot better than the first episode. Camera work and joke delivery included.

If episdoe 2 was part of season 3 I wouldn't think it was out of the ordinary, if that makes sense. It's season 3 quality.

Agreed. Good episode this last week, more in keeping with the prior direction of the show.

Abed: I remember when this show was about a Community College.

It seems like she's doing the New York tour this week. She's on The Daily Show tonight.

Watching the early feed and about half-way through I feel conflicted about the episode. I won't say anything else till 9:30 MST.

It had that cuteness that the first two episodes were missing. Plus half naked Britta helps

Pretty classic Community: Humour mixed with some great character moments. Really felt like a 1st season type of episode. I wonder if Harmon wrote more of the 2nd and 3rd seasons, while he took more of a support role in the 1st season.

Solid. With each episode I get less worried about it.

Loved the US version of Inspector Spacetime that Shirley and Pierce helped develop.

It was a good episode. Good, but not great. It's a start.

I thought it was a quite a big step back from last weeks episode which is unnerving. Still a lot better than the premiere though.

It seems like the new showrunners have no clue how to handle the Abed character which blows. There was a couple good lines this episode.

"Is it okay that Britta is here? Cause she can wait in the car"

"Did that hair fall out naturally? Cause if so, I need to call Science"

Got better as the episode went on. Felt more familiar than the first two episodes, which is a good thing.

I can't help but think more time spent at Greendale would be a good thing, and soon.

See I thought last weeks episode (Halloween) felt exactly like a Community episode should and I wouldn't find it out of place in any of the previous seasons. This episode on the other hand, was definitely weak by even season 3 standards imo.
