Sounds like Shaun Alexander is meeting with the 'Skins to replace an injured Betts.

And Dallas adds another Roy Williams.....this time on the offensive side of the ball.
No word yet on what the Lions will get.

What do they put on the back of their jersey?

Whoa, I think that is more than I think anyone was rumouring.
And Pacman has a 4 game suspension.

I guess the league didn'e agree with Jerry Jones' assessment that it was "nothing"

They have 2 guys who are elite receivers. An Austin was looking like an elite receiver. Felix Jones has a partially torn hamstring, out 2-4, Romo out for 4, Newman out for approx 6 weeks, Pacman out for at least 4.
Trouble in big D

This is the first time I've heard of Larry Johnson's run in with the law.
Quote:
Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson has been charged with simple assault for allegedly pushing a woman at a Kansas City nightclub in February, the third time he has faced assault charges against a woman.

Will this get him a suspension?

Cowboys overpayed big time for Williams. If Williams leaves in free agency and the Cowboys don't win the Super Bowl, this will go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history.

What did they give up for Joey Galloway? Wasn't it like 2 or 3 first round picks?

The late great Hank Stram said that if you have a Cadillac it doesn't matter who is driving, it is still a Cadillac. He was trying to motivate his team after their starting QB went down with a knee injury in week 1 in 1969 (the second string QB broke his leg in week 2). Your probably right, I am being a little to hard on the Patriots. I don't want to continue to beat a dead horse since I'm not going to change what I think and people who think the opposite are not going to change the way they think.
Still, troutman said something was missing from the Patriots aside from Brady. I think that something is glaring, but it is just my personal opinion.

Exactly.
You can't tell me that Tennessee doesn't have their's coming either. Great defence, sure, but at some point they will get spanked good. That offence just can't stretch the field enough. They are not an elite team...and it looks like there are no elite teams this year.

They added more aged players!
I think Brady's injury shocked the team. I really do.

Nothing will ever, ever top the '99 draft day deal Ditka pulled for Ricky Williams. Yet another dark chapter in Saints history. Every time I see a picture of Ditka with a cigar in his mouth and that undeserved look of self-satisfaction on his face, I want to grab that cigar and shove it up his ***.
I dont think you could even successfully pull off that trade on PlayStation.

Well Roy Williams was my favourite player until this year. It has been quite obvious he wasn't interested in helping the Lions win games this year. Disappointing.
Great to see the Lions stockpiling some picks for a proper rebuild though.
As for the Cowboys, is there enough football to go around to Williams and Owens? Those are two elite WRs to be sure, but T.O. is already whining about not seeing the ball.... what happens when there's another guy nearly equal to his ability?
I bet Romo's just salivating in his lounger while nursing his pinky, thinking about throwing to these guys.

I think Vikings fans would disagree... Per Wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herschel_Walker_Trade
Minnesota Vikings Received: - RB Herschel Walker
- Dallas's 3rd round pick - 1990 (54) (Mike Jones)
- San Diego's 5th round pick - 1990 (116) (Reggie Thornton)
- Dallas's 10th round pick - 1990 (249) (Pat Newman)
- Dallas's 3rd round pick - 1991 (68) (Jake Reed)
Dallas Cowboys Received:
