Remember when Hrudey was like Millian before more CBC exposure. I sure do . Once it was a ever weekend thing ( pre rogers purchase) he was completely different rogers purchases rights and cbc Saturday hockey his calls did a 180

It's my problem with some of the hockey color guys, especially compared to other sports. Try a little harder and prepare a little more maybe.

Do you get the sense Hrudey gets coaching on how to be better at his job? I don't. Seems like he just relies on the same old thing. He has personality and charm and relies 100% on that.

No, that’s Mang’s man when killing a penalty. Zadorov should not have stepped up to lay a hit in that situation. Zadorov let people get behind him.

Yeah, Zadorov is on PK for his reach and to clear the net front, not to hit. The power play coaches would love the defenders to commit to hits constantly.

Zadorov isn't supposed to step up late on the puck carrier in that situation on a PK and then let the guy to his left step right in unimpeded.

Just brain dead play from Zadorov there looking for a big hit when they didn't need it.
