Reaves is big in weight, and super physical, but not tall. Tuch is a big guy. But not too physical. Nosek is 6'3"/210. The rest of the team seems bog standard NHL sinze - all 6'-6'2" and 180-200 or so. And Marchessault.
Their D is big though.

Flames are out per Chris Johnston of sportsnet.
I am guessing they will try and see if they can circle back later in the day.
Chris Johnston @reporterchris
He was referring to Mark Stone here. So Calgary is out. And Winnipeg is out.
Ryan Leslie @ryanleslie73
Don Maloney telling me moments ago, the #Flames were “in on something big” last night but that it fell apart.
Again, they are not willing to use their high end prospects for a rental.

Possibly but the more i think about it the more it makes sense for Vegas to go after Stone hard...and they would probably have a much greater chance of re-signing him than the Flames would.

I think they were in on it until vegas decided to show up and throw their weight around.
With Nashville looking at maybe moving fiala for granlund, i wonder if they are moving on from Stone as well.

Right. In any event, VGK is not all that scary. The Flames seem to struggle more with teams like Dallas, Anaheim and St Louis.

Sounds like the #Flames are “99%” out on Stone.

Could be posturing but I hope that the Flames don't let someone else swoop in on Stone for cheap.

That tweet will be legendary if we somehow end up with Stone.

Too bad - but I agree with not going crazy if he wasn't going to re-sign here.

Good, crazy prices being quoted.
Who do you sit if/when Neal and Stone both come into the team?
Do nothing Tre, for the love of all things holy...do nothing!

Treliving doesn't want to end up in a bidding war I imagine. If nashville or Vegas offer the house you say thank you very much Pierre, let me know if they don't come through.

You questioned whether or not the team was physical. They are very physical.

Could see Islanders potentially making a move for Stone. Hopefully he lands out East.

I think its an error to be out on stone- Vegas or Nashville will certainly pull the trigger and with Winnipeg locking down hayes (jealous of that price) it seems to me the flames might get passed by. Dont want to pull an oilers style "offseason 2018" where all your competitors make moves to get better and you just hold pat- we can all see how well that turned out for them.

It's good they have a line in the sand. And it's good they're scaring the hell out of Dorion.

In all fairness Maloney did say they won’t spend assists on a “rental.” If they can sign Stone or Dorion has a change of heart and let’s them talk extension, I think this also could change...
