I was actually curious how long it would take before Senator would come in and mention De Gea.

So predictable lol

Just be thankful they're gonna win UCL despite the gaffes. If Navas legit costed them you'd need to fire up the fax machine.

again, he has two years left on his deal and United are not exactly willing to cut Real of all teams a nice deal.

Courtois has only one year left, he's stated his desire to play in Madrid again and Chelsea have just missed top 4 and CL football. Makes much more sense financially for them to go after him.

Asensio having to start this one on the bench again is a crime.

Such a great talent.

Courtois is not really much of an upgrade, if he's even that. I get the contract situation, but Salah has a contract with years left and you know they're coming for him anyway. Contract situation doesn't mean much to Madrid.

Too bad they aren't the only party involved in those transfer negotiations.

Wealthy teams won't just roll over when Florentino calls.

He's had a mediocre year actually.

didn't know that, don't really follow La Liga to be honest. Just always extremely impressed when I see him in CL games.

Yeah, he's been "ok" off the bench. He got a lot of looks early but looked nothing like the player he was last year. He'll get there, still very young and very much in the plans.

Bayern only have to blame themselves. Wasted way too many good chances ... and Lewandowski again proved why he's one of the most overrated strikers in the world. He'll boost his numbers against Mainz, Hamburg and so on, but he ####s the bed against great competition.

Well done Real. Cheering for them feels so dirty, but when the alternatives are Bayern and Liverpool, I take a Real threepeat every day.

Gotta go into Madrid and win, easier said than done. I just wish Bayern could play RM with a healthy squad but it appears the gods will not allow that to happen

Madrid weren't very good and Ronaldo invisible...even with the injuries it feels like Bayern choked that one away.

Knee ligament damage for Ox, will miss the rest of the season and the World Cup. Just brutal, he was really becoming an important piece for us. We have almost no bodies left in midfield, I'm not quite sure how we'll manage playing time with so many important games remaining.

My impression was that Bayern was too static - they seemed to be just standing still and passing the ball around. Ribeiry was able to create the chances by individual dribbling excellence, but otherwise there was no combination play. That sort of style is sufficient to grind down Koln or such , but against high-end competition just too little imagination...

Yep, once robben went off i think it messed up their whole gameplan

Wanted to attack down both flanks but when thiago comes in and muller goes wide he cuts in so much, marcelo was able to get forward too much, it did cost them on the kimmich goal but not much outside that

So even when bayern had the ball, unless it was ribery on the left no real creation, would have been nice if coman was fit
