I'll take a repeat of the last game 7 the Oilers played.

A loss in the Cup Final? Lets not get ahead of ourselves. They have to get past the Ducks first.

Well I'm a bundle of nerves today. Oh well win or lose, I'm extremely proud of my team. Would have been happy just playing meaningful games down the stretch, and here we are going to game 7 in the second round.

Proud of stumbling ass backwards into McDavid? It's not an accomplishment to snag the best player in the world with sheer dumb luck and tell him "go".

I wouldn't sweat it as I feel the Oilers should win tonight fairly easily 5-3. Ducks don't seem to be able to bring it for 60 minutes and I like Talbot much more than Gibson.

If every Oilers fan was like you and our California Oil fan (and my brother in law), I wouldn't hate them so much. Unfortunately, they aren't.

Hope Oil lose and the Ducks are promptly swept. If not, Preds sweeping Oilers is also acceptable.

Oil will cruise tonight, Talbot is 1,000,000x the goalie that Gibson is.

5-0 Oil

Which team would be easier for the Preds to take out?

They have a 3-0 regular season record vs. the Oilers, but my gut says the Ducks would be easier for them.

IF we make it past the Ducks, the Preds have had our number all year. They really know how to slow down our game.

Regular season records mean jack squat in the playoffs though. Did the Hawks beat the Preds in the majority of their meetings in the regular season?

Not sure if this was sarcasm, but I remember how pretty much series went for the Flames in '04, let alone the last game.

The Hawks did, yes. Its a fair point. But regular season match ups are all we have to go on when squaring up those two teams. They have no recent playoff history.
