I thought it had to be a dream sequence when Carl came out of hiding and started blasting people. The way he was yelling at people seemed so ridiculous and phoney.

I couldn't figure out the end game here. Surly he knew going in if he shot Negan he would probably die. So then he sees Negan, and doesn't shoot him? All that work just to quit? WTF Coral? Rick didn't raise you to be a quitter! Follow through!

Speaking of following through, its also good advice for your baseball swing.

The woman from the camp that Tara found said he killed all the guys over 10 years old.

I might not be remembering it accurately, but the blood on Negan appeared as though it may have come from shaving his beard.

Why did Carl say that's Negan couldn't kill him or Rick or Darryl?

Bravado of a kid combined with the fact that no one has been able to yet.

I think he's using the logic that since he hasn't, he doesn't have the balls

I got a different vibe from it. As if Carl realized something in that moment, and why Negan hadn't just killed them. I don't think he was implying that Carl, Rick, et al are too crafty to be killed, but more that he realized that something was actually preventing Negan from doing it. I don't think Negan truly cares about what kind of good soldiers these guys are going to make. I just thought the way that Carl said it, it meant that he was calling Negan's bluff, whatever that is.

Maybe, that might be reading too much into it though.
I want to know who gave Daryl the note. Why did it have a match and a key? "Go now" is more than just a "here I'm helping you escape". It's a "something is going to happen go before it starts".

CARL:"Why haven’t you killed me?"
NEGAN: "You're a smart kid, what do you think I should do? You know I can't let you go. Do I kill you, iron your face or chop off your arm?"
CARL: "You should jump out the window to save me the trouble of killing you"
NEGAN: "There's the kid that impressed the hell out of me"
CARL: "You're not saying because you aren't going to do anything. If you knew us or anything, you would kill us, but you can't"
|
For reference, this is the line and the way Carl delivered it, which had me questioning if Carl knew why Negan wasn't able to kill them.

I want to say it was Ninja Jesus, but I'm not sure how he'd know exactly where Darryl is. So the other option has to be either Dwight or his wife.

Just my own personal theory, but I think Negan views Carl as a potential protege. There doesn't seem to be any children in the right age range around him (old enough to understand yet still impressionable), and even fewer with the experiences that Carl has gone through, dealing with the world as it is now. I think he sees the potential to slowly manipulate Carl, turning him to the dark side (oh crap...now I'm off track ). Who knows if Carl can be converted or not, but I think Negan is going to try. In the end, Negan's ego is so big that I'm sure he wants a successor to his empire after he dies, otherwise it will be all for naught in his eyes.
Carl is now a bit of a disgruntled teen with black and white views on the world and a penchant for aggressiveness and violence. It's just the sort of kid who Negan can mould to fit in his world.

Whoever left the note for Daryl might have known that Negan and Carl left alone. There might be a good chance that they know Negan would be vulnerable by himself and ripe for assassination, so it would be best for Daryl to get out of there before the crap hits the fan. I don't think Negan with Judith would do much. Best case is he's carrying her when he's shot and drops her. Worst case is probably bad. I don't think they would show that.
Also if anybody gets it, I think it's probably Olivia.

I thought it was an entertaining episode but it did bug me that he had a singular goal to get to the hideout and kill Negan yet for the 2nd time with a gun in hand and Negan in plain site he doesn't follow through. What exactly is the point of risking your life to kill him if you aren't going to go through with it when you are presented with the exact opportunity on a silver platter?
It seems like Negan is a jerk to everyone so I'm not sure why anyone would fear repercussions from taking him out as outside of Trevor maybe I don't see anyone that would take vengeance out on his killers.
