Alright another review. Thank goodness, we've only had like 10 tonight.

Is anyone else a little turned off by the way the Jays players are handling the PED suspension? Just seems like every player feels sorry for him and they all are making excuses instead of being disappointed in him. They make it seem like the PED fairy just spiked one of his drinks like he had no clue what he was taking.

I think the closeness of the team and being supportive of their friend who has made a mistake is a positive sign. It's not like he did something like beat his wife or anything like that.

I get that it's just weird how they all try to minimize it with how it "happened to him" like someone else injected him with drugs. I watched a lot of the players interviews about it and it just seemed like they all felt sorry for him like he was injured or something. He made the decision to take drugs, it didn't just happen to him.

He cheated and got caught. At least man up and admit it and don't just pretend it just happened. He keeps saying he doesn't know how it happened. If I'm the league how does that look on the Blue Jays organization? He's either lying (which is the most logical choice) or someone in the organization gave it to him without his knowledge?

Or he just goofed up and took something without making sure it didn't have a banned substance first.

There is also a possibility that a supplement he took was laced with the thing he was dinged for as the substance only in large pill form, so you'd know that you're taking it that way. It's not like he was injecting the stuff. Stranger things can happen. It could have been a accidental mistake, it probably wasn't.

I don't know the situation at all, but he does seem like a good guy that was well liked by his teammates. Either way, it is disappointing because he worked so hard to get through the minors to make the majors and this will likely end his career.

Carrera leads off the bottom of the 1st with a base hit. He's on fire right now. Can't believe I typed that.

JD and EE have both gone deep but not deep enough. The Jays getting some good swings already, could be a good sign.

Even though this replay went the Jay's way, I am not a fan of guys being called out for bouncing a millimetre off the base on a hard steal
