How do you blame the gm for players having crappy years? Mind you Boston is looking like a lottery team soon enough, they are not having the same production from guys.

|
Yep....if he clears waivers...and he will...he can stay with the Ducks or be assigned to their AHL team (Norfolk maybe?). If the Ducks want to assign him after 30 days he would have to clear waivers again...at least this is how i recall things.
Buyouts cant occur until the summer.

Sure they don't but I don't think they're just making this up for nothing either.

Maybe he is a djinn. A really powerful one that can influence powerless peons like an NHL owner. Yup, I think he is a djinn.

I wonder if Buffalo ends up getting a 1st from Boston for Stewart.

Chiarelli should be fired immediately if he does that trade. Currently that 1st rounder would be 15th overall for a pending-UFA, that has chronic problems with inconsistency and compete level. Boston is one spot ahead of Calgary. Would you be happy trading our first for Chris Stewart? .

If Charelli and Julien are fired it will be about 10 minutes before other teams call their agents to see if they are ready to work again.

Leafs clobbered again. 16th straight loss on the road, building on their franchise record.
I wonder if their fearless leader is playing his last game in the blue and lose.

Was thinking earlier today, this has to be one of the most active deadline weeks ever. I work at 10am tomorrow, so it's awesome to not miss al of the juicy action

Yeah I could see a coaching change in the works if the Bruins miss the playoffs or even if they make the playoffs and get spanked in the first round. Julien is a good coach but the team is stale and it's easier to change the coach than the team.

Unless I dreamed it Tokarski played great as a rookie in the playoffs last year when Price went down. Awful might be a little over the top.

I know this is a reach for this thread. but I didn't want a thread on this subject. Is anyone else concerned about Matt Stajan and family? Have not heard much if anything about him and his expectant wife and after last year no news is not good news. An update would be very much appreciated.

If Julien goes the Bruins will be frothing at the mouth for Mike Babcock.
Wait... that sounds awkward. Point stands.

Drury18 posted a tweet saying that Stajan was skating at Winsport this morning. Other than that seems the Stajan family is keeping everything quiet.
