Ordered my OPO November 20th and it arrived at my door Nov 27th. After reading forums, I went with the USPS option. Although marginally more expensive than DHL (maybe $8-10 more at most) I didn't have to pay any customs which saved me about $40.

If you get one and are shipping to Canada, definitely go USPS option. DHL may arrive 1-2 days earlier at best but this was delivered to my mailbox and is way more convenient for me since I didn't have to chase down the parcel.

Looks like the black friday sale took care of a lot of the pent up demand.

As for accessories, anyone who wants a white back can get one now as well. They are $33 and these ones include all the buttons, nfc and sim card holders that some of the previous parts lacked.

Having the OPO for a few weeks now, I wanted to give a mini review. For the hardware, I've found the vibration to be much lower than my Samsung S3, I am missing calls/texts while it is next to me on my desk at work. The notification light is also lacking, the S3 had a much brighter light. For software, its pretty much a non-issue if you are rooting and using custom roms. I did find that it didn't work well with Rogers, always dropping my connection. But changing the Rogers access point to LTE fixed that. On the positive side I am a bluetooth junky with multiple BT gadgets and I found the reception to be quite well, walking from room to room with my headset much better than the S3.

But I cant recommend the OEM flip case. The plastic housing is thick and it is harder to press the power/volume buttons. And worse yet, there is no hole in the flip cover so you can see the notification light. I've half tempted to take a drill/leather hole punch to it.

Thanks, I am on Rogers as well and I also found that it always dropped my conncections every now and than. Did you have to pay $10 to change to a LTE sim card?

I dont think so, I at the time also upgrade to their SureTap sim (which was useless).
