A law enforcement official tells FOX Boston that Aaron Hernandez "appears to be directly tied to the homicide" of "associate" Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro, Mass.
There are many important things to remember here, namely FOX 25 is not a typical Rotoworld source, and Hernandez has yet to be charged with a crime. That being said, the storm clouds appear to be gathering for the star tight end. FOX Boston reports Hernandez, Lloyd and two other men left a Boston-area bar in a car driven by Hernandez on the night of the homicide, but Odin was the only passenger not to make it back to Hernandez's house

MyFoxBoston.com has a helicopter following Hernandez in his white SUV (which is an amazing coincidence). He went to Gillette Stadium and parked and the helicopter isn't going anywhere. What a circus.

Police plan to go back to the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told ABC News.
The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.
And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.
Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News.

If Hernandez is guilty of these crimes, I hope he has to face the penalty and does not get let off easy. It's so disappointing seeing professional athletes not having to serve a full sentence. Again, this of course IF he is guilty of these alleged crimes.

If the alleged crimes are murder or accessory to murder he's not going to be getting off easy. I don't think athletes have ever gotten off easy when it comes to charges of that severity.

Being a Pats fan this really sucks. I was a big fan of AH but his actions over the last few years have soured a lot of people. It really sounds like the crap is building up pretty high against his house.

Ray Lewis was convicted of obstruction of justice for lying to the police after agreeing to a plea deal and testifying against others accused of murder. Nobody was ever convicted of a murder in that case btw, if Lewis didn't turn witness and take the deal he likely would have been acquitted along with the other accused.
If Hernandez is convicted of murder or accessory to murder he wouldn't be serving a light sentence, which is what the post I responded to was complaining about.

Hate to jump to conclusions but you don't destroy your security system, cell phone, etc if you are innocent.

Don't forget Oscar Pistorius, he hasn't been acquitted yet; but it's looking more likely that he'll get off even though he's almost certainly guilty. Different justice system of course, but I for one believe the case against him is more insurmountable than even OJ's prosecution.

Different justice system is putting it mildly, non-existent justice system is more accurate.

With Welker gone, Hernandez probably won't play and Gronk can't play next season, my Pats don't look too good now.

Pretty sure Gronk is projected to be back for the start of the season

" City of Brotherly Love", more like the "City of Chumps".
A former Temple University All-American running back who helped lead the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl title now finds himself a victim of crime, according to CBS 3 sources.
Those sources confirm that Bernard Pierce was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening along the 7500 block of Haverford Avenue. His BMW was also stolen.
The car was later recovered and processed at the police garage for possible clues.
Pierce and a male companion, sources say, were shaken but were not injured during the robbery. Sources say a gunman jumped from a car while his accomplice remained behind the wheel and robbed Pierce and his companion, then stole the vehicle.

Aaron Hernandez has been arrested, no official word on what he's been charged with.

At this rate Tebow will be opening day starter at TE for the Pats. Still waiting on an official charge, but I gotta believe its more than obstruction of justice if the Pats straight dumped him.
