not gonna say the mayans were right.... but
in a span of about 48 hours David N'Gog, Andy Carroll, and Stewart Downing have all scored...
If Torres scores tomorrow I am a believer

Hey there, dont forget Jonjo Shelvey! Shelvey and Downing opened their Liverpool accounts today. Sure it was against Oldham, but sometimes you cant be picky!
If Torres scores then things are going to get spooky....

Reported racist chanting from select Liverpool fans towards 20-year-old Oldham midfielder Tom Adeyemi reduce him to tears. Disgusting.
I was watching the game, he went to take a throw in and then turned around and started yelling at a fan, Gerrard came over and tried to settle him down, sickening, shouldn't be hard to spot the fan and ban him for life from Anfield

Controlling the fans is a tough gig, but they certainly should do something about it and boot him.
And Gerrard steps in as a class act.

I would hope so. I've always thought it was strange having the fans that close to the players with no barriers. You alwways see them yelling things at the players and throwing stuff at them, its a strange setup they've got going on.

British Newspapers are hilarious.
Quote:
The unusual step came in response to widespread speculation that The Independent newspaper are to run a frontpage story on Saturday, claiming United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is "ready to let Rooney go".
"Manchester United and Wayne Rooney have been made aware of the theme of an article in tomorrow's Independent newspaper," it read. "We have not seen the detail but can assure all United fans that the Manager and the Club are committed to Wayne Rooney and Wayne is committed to the Manager and the Club.

Did they tell United they were going to run this story before they ran it?

So hilarious that Liverpool now uses them to arrange board level meetings.

When questioned at the club's press conference on Friday on reports that Liverpool would like peace talks, Ferguson said: "It is nice of them to do it through the press.
"You would have thought they would come to Manchester United first. I do not see why there is any need for it but I have nothing to say about it."

I know it's early days, but City's season potentially falling apart over the next month has me very excited
out of the FA Cup
down 1-0 to an away goal at HT in the Carling Cup 2 legged semi
no Kompany, or the Toures until february, Silva on a very poor run of form

Cahill deal done.
Quote:
Bolton and England defender Gary Cahill has reportedly agreed terms with Chelsea and is expected to complete a £7 million move over the weekend.
Reports suggest Cahill had initially wanted £100,000/week from Chelsea, and the club were unwilling to meet his demands. But talks with Chelsea's chief executive Ron Gourlay on Thursday are thought to have led to an agreement that will see Cahill take home around £80,000/week.

No, he really isn't.
I really didn't like Dalglish's tactics today. I have no idea why he would start 5 defenders at home against Stoke. At times it seemed like we had a 5-5 formation with no strikers out there. We generated nothing and deserved that goal-less draw.
