No question the eagles are loading up on a bunch of good players, but it remains to be seen how that translates into the "team" thing that every club has to have to be successful.
Its been tried and failed so many times before...and with the amount of large egos in that locker room there better be some real solid leadership to hold them all together.

With the free agency being lowered to after 4 years and many teams/players last year holding off on long term deals until they knew what the new labour agreement was going to be, there were an awful lot of guys looking for jobs this year. And I'm noticing many of these guys found the market wasn't as good as they had hoped and there are a whole bunch of 1 year deals, so a similar thing may happen next year.
I read a tweet yesterday that said there were still 150 guys looking for jobs. While I'm sure they aren't great, some of them will make the league. There will be some bargains to be had.

Lee Evans traded to Baltimore for a 4th.
Great move by the Ravens. WR2 was a big hole. Really balances that offense out.

So are the Bills already tanking for the Andrew Luck sweepstakes?

Browner has been listed as a backup on the depth chart in Seattle but impressed in their preseason game this week. Had a couple knockdowns on passes thrown his way and the team seems to be quite high on him. They really like his size.
Bulcke is third on the 49ers depth chart at right DE. He had a solo and assisted tackle last night against New Orleans and spent some time injured at the start of camp. Harbaugh coached him at Stanford and likely wants to see him succeed in the NFL but it doesn't appear like Bulcke has done much to blow anyone away in camp. I'd say he's most likely to end up in Calgary this year.
Tom Johnson is getting a ton of good publicity in NO, this tweet came out a couple days ago about him....
"Aug. 10, 2011 6:23 p.m. - by Larry Holder - DT Johnson standing out
Journeyman DT Tom Johnson continues to see action with the first-team defense. The former CFL standout has been in the DT rotation throughout camp so far and may be the favorite to land a potential fourth DT spot. Saints RapidReports"
Considering he signed a three year deal before the lockout with some guaranteed money included, I'd say he's looking good to make the DL rotation and earn a spot on the roster.
Luckily for the Stamps, Bulcke is the guy they currently need the most out of the three. His NI status on the DL would go a long ways to replacing Corey Mace for this year and filling the Stamps biggest hole.

More on CFLers trying out down south...
Andy Fantuz...
(taken from chicagobears.com)
"How is Andy Fantuz performing at camp? Does it look like he can land a spot on the roster?
Paul
Kandahar, Afghanistan
Andy Fantuz possesses good hands and size, but to be perfectly honest he hasn’t done a whole lot during training camp practices to stand out, good or bad. It’s not like he’s had any bad drops, but he hasn’t made a lot of memorable catches either. Part of the problem is that the Bears are now very deep at the receiver position: Roy Williams and Sam Hurd have joined a group that includes Devin Hester, Johnny Knox and Earl Bennett, and rookie Dane Sanzenbacher is turning a lot of heads with his play in the slot."
Fantuz won't get put on the practice squad due to his advanced age, his NFL dream appears to be getting smaller by the day.
Matthew O'Donnell (Rider prospect)
Third string LT on the Bengals depth chart currently. He's apparently shown some athleticism in camp and could be destined for the practice squad given his immense size (6'10, 340) and age (22).
Emmanuel Arceneaux (BC WR)
Currently a ways down the Vikings depth chart (listed at 4th string). Leslie Frazier has said he expects to go with 5 WR's on the active roster with Harvin, Berrian, Jenkins and Camarillo the projected top 4. Arceneaux is going to be locked in a battle with 3-4 other guys to earn the final spot and will have to have a couple huge preseason games to earn consideration. He's very young (22) so he could potentially be offered a spot on the practice squad if he flashes.
Martell Mallett (former Lions RB)
Was practicing with the Giants. He hurt his knee at the start of camp and was subsequently released.
