I briefly saw a press scrum this morning with MP Gerretsen and if I find a link I will post it but he went on about how the Liberals are excited for the next parliamentary session and will be focused on attacking PP and showing Canadians what PP and the CPC is all about. I have to question these comments and strategy because I would hope that they would be focused on actually doing the work necessary in the House for the betterment of Canada in terms of policy decisions instead of attacking the opposition. Leave the attacking and fighting for the next campaign.

I understand the grift, but It would have the same benefit no? After 5 years, the price of the condos is presumably lower than new builds, and creates affordable housing.
From what I understand now is that old builds are basically full, and new builds are cost prohibitive.

Probably nothing. But new housing for personal sale already qualifies for a GST rebate if it costs less than 450k, which most apartments built for rent here would.
