they dont have the leadership? I dont know, in the CIBC commercial, McDavid yelling Lets go really inspired me. he's a warrior

Even the McPP has gone somewhat cold, which currently sits 10th in the NHL. Obviously that's still pretty good, but it's nowhere near where it was last season when they had the #1 PP for pretty much the entire year. Perhaps teams have finally figured out how to defend against it.

Mcdrai only have 2 even strength goals between them. 10 games into the season. Hopefully the Canucks can continue their hot start and beat these clowns on Monday again. They do have the layup of all layups coming up against the Sharks this week. One can only imagine the hype train when they win that game 6-1.

It would be an epic meltdown though if they somehow found a way to lose to the sharks. One can hope.

I would be, but I can't see them losing to the Sharks. If anything they will win that game and they will say everything is back on the rails until they play their next game against a team that isn't playing at a historically poor level.

So McDavid ends up having an off-year (largely injured) and gets run out of town. That would be Peak No Good.

I want him to suffer there.

It's about time it fell back to earth.

Hard to believe that stretch went on for nearly two seasons.

They rode rainbow farts being able to win games solely off the PP for way longer than made any reasonable sense. And they thought that they could keep game planning around a 40% PP indefinitely (get caved in 5 on 5 and flop for calls).

Nice to see mcdrai are human too.

Looks like their best shot at any kind of run has passed them by, with the outside chance at one more kick at it next season if Holland can swing the best move of his career to get them a goalie and fit him under that cap nightmare.

McDavid was perfectly healthy when they got pounded in game one so the excuse is kinda BS anyway

You know McDavid and Draisaitl are going to have 6 point games on Thursday in San Jose and the parade planning will start right up again.

Actually I'm thinking that'll happen against the Canucks on Monday, and they'll be so satisfied and self-assured in their belief that they "fixed it" that they'll lay an egg and lose against the Sharks.

That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

I just want the hilarity to continue for another 20 years. But what do you do for an encore after screwing it up with 2 of the top offensive talents?

YES.

THIS.

If this happens, Edmonton may fold in on itself and create an irreversible quantum incident.
