TIL - McDavid and Draisatl are 7th in league history for Most Goals Assisted on by Teammate. McDavid has assisted on 200 of Draisatl's goals.

By the end of the year they will easily be top 5 (10 assisted goals away).

$14 5 million per year. Draisatl should be paying a percentage to McDavid, he's earned him more money than his agent.

It gets better when you see the highlights and the goal visualizer, and see the immense mess that the whole team, but specifically McDavid, is in his own end.

The 4-4 tying goal had McDavid, along with the other Edmonton forwards, literally standing in the neutral zone not paying attention to the play which was IN the Oiler zone, for like 10-15 seconds.

And the 5th and 6th Florida goals aren't much better.

Yup. Dumb play, definite penalty. But 2 minutes was enough IMO.

You wonder how other skilled guys from the same draft or thereabouts would do playing that amount of time with McDavid. Pasternak probably has more points. Bennett maybe has a hundred more goals.

Yeah wtf is McTantrum doing during the 4-4 goal? He hops off the bench, then leans against the bench for a few seconds while the Panthers are attacking, either to cry about the clean hit against Skinner, or ask directions to the defensive zone. Then after looking at a map for a few more seconds he starts slowly coasting toward his own zone. The whole time the Panthers are 3 on 1 in the Oilers zone(it was Bouchard defending so more like 3 on 0.1).

I think they all saw that hit and assumed someone was going to step up and fight, and they were just going in to look tough and pull people away.

Then they got in there and were like;
are you going to fight?
No! that was a big hit though, aren't you going to fight?
I was just coming in to get an extra punch in with my glove on while you were fighting.

Oh I guess none of us are going to fight. We are at the bench so we should probably change while we are here. That way we don't get a -1.
