Just played through the Black Ops 6 campaign, it was pretty fun. I guess probably because the campaigns have been such trash that it's a low bar, but it kept me entertained.
Not worth paying $$ for but it's part of Game Pass so yeah.
I never play multiplayer but always enjoy these campaigns...length is just right. I used to get them from the library but gamepass is even easier

I was a Kickstarter backer and have the whole exclusive fancy physical copy on Switch, it really is a fantastic game. Definitely my favorite indie take on the "throwback JRPG" that comes around every so often. I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone, even at regular price you're getting a great adventure with a ton of heart poured in to it. Made in Canada, too!

I'm late to the party on Factorio, I was off last week and put in some serious time like more than I wanted or expected. I restarted my game a few times after getting so far and streamlining my builds. I don't know what it is with this game but I can't stop thinking about it.
I think the price was one of the main reasons I never even considered playing it, $45 for a genre I don't usually play so if I hadn't got a copy other ways first and played a bunch I would never had bought it.

Has anyone tried Star Wars Outlaws yet? It looks interesting to me and I'll probably give it a whirl after Christmas. Its reviews are mostly good but I thought I'd see what people in these parts think of the game.

Yeah, they made some kind of stand to never do a sale and it rubs some people the wrong way. Humble bundle was a way to get a modest discount if you wanted but it's held fast. New expansion out too as well.

Yeah the Space Age expansion is what brought the game back into the spotlight and made me take a real look at Factorio. Its sad how much this game has me right now, its all I think about. Path of Exile 2 is coming out on Dec 6th in early access so it will pull me away for a while at least but damn.
Anyone used one of these recently? Is the battery life still terrible?
What’s your definition of terrible? The OLED model is improved over the old LCD but it depends on what game you’re playing and what settings you use. Expect 2-10 hours.

I just wonder if it would be worth it for me given I have and Xbox and PS5. Would be kind of redundant with the exception of PC exclusives I suppose.

The battery life was never terrible. I've literally never run out of battery while using it, although I usually do have a battery bank in my backpack. For the type of games that IMO the form factor is best for (indie games like Hades or Hollow Knight, retro games, basically anything but AAA games) it's even good - even using my old LCD I get 4-6 hours out of playing those types of things. The OLED is about a 20% improvement I would guess.
And yeah, the deck is my primary gaming device and it's not even close - even when I'm at home it's just more convenient than firing up the desktop most of the time. I have both - the LCD I still use when traveling. I have a PS5 but god knows why as I essentially never use it.
