Argos are trying their best to hand this game back to the Riders

Owens fumble, Riders recover. 2 straight turnovers by Argos.

BTW, has anyone been following the John Cornish thing on Riderfans and GoStampsGo?

I've pretty much never been to either site until very recently. Seems some Stamps fans started badmouthing Cornish for posting on Riderfans, then when he saw what people on GSG said about him, he signed up and called them out.

Love to see players getting involved online, not with that twitter garbage but some real online input and discussion. Embarrassing that some fans (including a mod over there that shares a name with a poster here) turn their backs on a guy who is reaching out to the fan base, only to change their tune when he gives them some love too. Luckily Cornish seems like a smart enough guy to ignore the trolls and haters and just talk football and promote the league.

West is back in Calgary's hands. Two wins (Monday and next week) will lock up first.

That's easier said than done...the other two best teams in the league, both on the road...we will see just how elite of a team the Stamps are this year in the next 10 days or so.

Great opportunity for them though, hopefully they grab it by the throat and win in Montreal to put them two games up. Then they can afford a loss in Regina and still win the bye, as their 3 remaining games should be wins.

If Calgary can get one win in the next two weeks they have a really solid chance of winning the division, imo.

Id like to see two wins of course, hehe.

Just love it when Riders lose. Finally their luck ran out this week. In the 2nd quarter, it looks like the Argos are starting to give away the game to those lucky b$trd Riders. Hopefully the Stamps will win against the Als on Monday and beat the Riders next week so they pull away in the West.

I saw that. I think there was some hurt feelings on the GSG side of things. I can understand why, but I see why Cornish would post at RF. I go to RF a lot of the time because there is always a lot of CFL discussion. Plus, RF can get real wacky. I loved that Getzlaf thread on how he needed to catch better as if making the catch isn't enough? Go figure.

I don't like how some of the GSG posters jumped on Cornish. He seems like an awesome guy. I met him out at Shouldice and I couldn't have left with a better opinion of him. He really seems to be the ideal of what we want a professional athlete to be. He made time for all the kids and talked to parents. All those guys who came out that day were good enough to donate their time, but Jon Cornish stood out as the best of them.

Im honestly suprised the Bombers were a favorite on Sports Select.
A QB playing his first game in the CFL and their oppenent being a better team, imo.

I'm not sure they knew that, those odds come out really early.

This is going to be an ugly QB game.
Game will be decided by FG and turnovers.
