This panel is a joke. McDavid should be able to get away with anything.

are they really whining about the penalty on McDavid, and then crying that McDavid should get the benefit of the doubt. Just put a gold helmet on him, and don't call anything because he's special.
Hockey Night in Canada is just stupid, I have no respect for their panel at all.

I'm disappointed that Kylington is sitting at less than 4 mins tonight, but it makes sense because of all the special teams.

Yup, simply the fact that the usual negativness from the offseason in general and about these supposedly useless NHLers has been repeated so many times by these posters since their acquisition, and without challenge (let alone play meaningful games) by other posters here, that they don't dare change their tune now.

Top guys ineffective, thats the story. They've all been poor but Lindholm looks noticeably rusty to me.

This is the game story so far.
I guess it was wishful thinking that fans would start the season with an open mind.
Not that every Flame has been great but they are carrying the play here. I thought Gaudreau had a good period, Lindholm still really invisible for some reason.

Taking the hand off a stick in that situation has been pretty much an automatic penalty for years. Dumb thing to go on about.

There was more 5 on 5 that period, I was disappointed he didn't see more ice.
