I was hoping the Flames would sign Coleman when he left NJ for Tampa in 2019. After the Kadri trade was nixed, I was hoping they would sign him to bring some speed and grit.

Really loved me some Coleman at the time (post #5) and battled for him for multiple pages and really love me some Coleman now.

Absolute beauty at both ends of the ice (as well as off it) and total workhorse.

Coleman has been a beast this year. I’d have no problem calling him our best overall player this season. Toss up with Markstrom.

He fills so many roles well.

It's really hard for a winger to win the Selke. I don't think it's been done since Jere Lehtinen.

Markstrom's been good, but Coleman has been leading the way.

Agreed, but it's just so hard to not look at a guy who finds it so easy to keep teams from scoring on the PK, that he just goes the other way and scores to increase the difficulty level.

Backlund's burning hatred of the Oil has rubbed off on Coleman during his time here (that stupid disallowed playoff goal added to it as well, I'm sure). Every time we play those bums you can just see the greaser hate from Coleman and it's great.

Someone needs to create a video of Goalman last night in BoA. I wish I had those skills.

Coleman's hit and fight are epic.

Some "Roar" by Katy Perry music in background would round it out nicely for our Texas Tiger!
