I think you're absolutely right.

that Neymar penalty is pure magic.

https://streamable.com/j7s178

Lille is up 2-0 at half-time ... almost there.

Serie A is also interesting. Milan is up 1-0 at Atalanta ... if that holds up and Napoli also wins against Verona (it's 0-0 at half-time), then Juventus will finish 5th and miss the CL.

Why was the keeper standing there on the Neymar penalty?

That penalty, lol.

Happy for David and Lille, great to see PSG not win too.

Neymar is an idiot.

Scoring a penalty in Soccer is like 80/20 in favour of the shooter, if you need little tricks and sneaky tactics and generally acting like a fool then you shouldnt be taking penalties.

Seriously.

One of the best penalty takers around is James Milner. Nothing fancy, just bury it.

Its similar to Wijnaldum...why would you want to go to Barca at this juncture? They are a post-apex team and if Messi gets his feathers ruffled and bails at any point they are immediately a mid-table club in a weak Spanish league and...they're also basically broke, so I dont know how they intend to pay him.

They also still owe Liverpool money for Coutinho and that might have to end up being settled in Court because they just dont have the cash and while Liverpool are sponsored by a Bank they are not one so when cash is due I imagine they expect to collect.
Uh....have you ever been to Liverpool? Kind of like wondering why a guy would want to leave Fort McMurray to double his wages and work in Miami.

If Villareal win tomorrow they go to Champion's League. If they lose they go to Conference League. I think ManU are in trouble

apparently they have to bring in over €80m in player sales this summer because of their financial situation. I guess Conte wasn't a fan of that.

same thing for Lille ... their manager Christophe Galtier is leaving for Nice, and they have already agreed to sell Maignan to Milan and Soumare to Leicester. Will be interesting to see where the likes of Botman and Ikone will land. It's a pity that this team is immediately gutted after that championship.

He has nothing to save them for.

No sense in rotating your squad when theres nothing left on the line.

They get paid...

nothing to do with saving or rotating, it's about freshening things up. No wonder Villareal have looked fresher in extra time, United are half-dead. That Rashford is still on the pitch is actually insane.

I would assume he's keeping Rashford on for the pens, but what does that say that considering the best options for pens is more important than trying to win in extra time? United have looked dead most of extra time.
