Was living in Colombia during qualifying for the 2014 World Cup and have been a huge fan of them ever since. Started to cheer for Aston Villa because of Carlos Sanchez and have been a huge fan of them for the past few years.

What a nightmare.

Doing it in the 3rd minute for the hope that your goalie can save the penalty but then having to play 10 men for 87 minutes was just stupid.

He keeps his hand down and lets that go in and my guess is Columbia still comes back to win.
Ospina should have just let the first shot go in

Yup. This.

I kind of like cheering for Poland when they're not playing Germany. Go Lewy!

Always had a bit of a soft spot for Senegal after the beat France in the opening match of the 2002 world cup.

So go them.

Senegal have never officially lost a World Cup match. that one win against France and 4 draws in 2002. Let's see if that continues on their return in this tournament.

Should be a deflection of a shot on target, not an own goal. But Senegal!

Nah that one is straight up own goal IMO. Not sure that is even on target and he kind of flicked at it with his foot.

Instead of the golden boot, he will be awarded the golden slip-on.

That crazy 2nd goal. Player waved onto the field and straight into a breakaway. It seemed odd.
