These few weeks with so many games against each other are virtually a mini playoff series for these teams. There is a sense of it now in how tight they're playing.

Man, Bouma is so done as an NHL'er. He can't even cycle properly anymore, his heads just not in it anymore for some reason. You add that to the fact that he's broken down and my goodness, there's much left there at all.

It's still smart. The alternative is to go for it and possibly give up a goal to us which would be devastating.

At least with OT the worst case scenario is we only gain one point on them and they get a point on the other wildcard holder.
