How about the show ends after Rick loses Carl and Michonne in the crossfire, he finally get's Negan where he wants him. He puts is revolver up to Negan's head, cocks the trigger, and starts to shake as he realizes he can't pull the trigger. Negan starts laughing as he readies Lucille and just before the kill swing says; "
When will you hosts learn ". The camera fades out to the landscape to people in the control room surveying the map. The camera then pans outside depicting a large building with a big "Zombie World" sign. That would be mind blowing.

One suggestion: go into it with the expectation that 2/3 of the greatest mysteries and questions of the show will not be answered.
That way it will only be incredibly dissatisfying instead of monumentally.

I get the feeling something really bad is gonna happen in the next episode. The iron part in addition to his history with Dwight really shows why Daryl is refusing to give in, he knows there's no way out once he does.

True, although I don't think Carl really has any idea how to get there, and Negan knows he hitched a ride in the truck. My guess is Negan just wants to keep Alexandria providing without the threat of future assassination attempts. My guess is he takes or threatens Judith to keep both Carl and Rick in line.

He treats the women and children differently I dont see him killing Carl.
