Why would that be the case? I remember when Melky Cabrera was suspended, the Giants could have added him to their postseason roster (though they didn't). I wonder what the difference is in this scenario?

These reviews are killing the game, imo. Every game, multiple times a game.
There's a fine line between getting the calls right and making the games intolerable. They have to fix it.

So many close plays this game have just not gone the Jays way. First the double play that was safe by a millisecond which would have been the third out, next batter is a 3 run home run. Edwin out by a half step. Sanchez not getting the strike 3 call on a good pitch, next pitch is hit to the wall.
Again, that ball hits Martins glove but goes behind him instead of staying in front of him.
