What did he say? Looks like the tweet was deleted. Although anyone trying to draw that parallel is a complete arsehole.

That was one of the great things about living in Tuscany. The whole city would have to be under water for the damn place to flood.

Fotze? At our house? Wow. I knew it was an emergency, but I didn't know it was THAT bad.

Nothing unbelievable about it, Twitter has a massive spam problem and inadequate servers, these limits need to be in place. Nobody at Twitter expected it to be the primary form of communication to the public for city officials and police departments during natural diasters, so they can be given for not having immediate contingencies to lift this limit.

Ya, maybe if this were 2011, no, but Twitter has been huge in tonnes of disasters and I'd imagine they have mechanisms in place to remove the cap fairly quickly. This isn't their first rodeo.

Bow actually looks a little lower than the earlier picture of the peace bridge?

I think the part after what you bolded is the most important. City officials and police departments. This is a free social media service, not Alberta Emergency Alert.

I'm sorry, I just realized I have probably come across as a total dick to you guys.

I really feel bad for you, I really do. If there's any way I can donate to the relief efforts I actually will and that's a promise.
