Just keep the spin rate up like Beiber did. Bassitt can come in if needed for another 3 innings.

Ahem....

Keep him in!
2 hits by Naylor and a weak grounder up the middle.
It’s not going to be a game until the Jays pen comes into play.

The offense needs to put up a crooked number here, and I think he could go 2 more!

I agree. Let him stay until another hit or walk happens. Give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he can get another out or two.

Come on Barger. It’s the same as a bunt.

Just when you think Barger redeemed himself that happens.

Barger has all the tools but rocks in his head.
That would've been a run.
Actually, that probably would've gone by a drawn in first baseman and might've led to more than a run.

Barger just doesn’t seem like he’s the sharpest tool in the shed, and proved it there. Gotta be awake in the playoffs, put the pressure on the defence.

I get that Barger should have taken 3rd there, but odd to pile so hard on the guy who got a double in the inning where one dude couldn't get a bunt down, one dude grounds out, and one flies out. I haven't had a look at the reply to see if he got a sign from the 3B coach, anyone?

Congrats on your first start in the OF tomorrow Loperfido.
Glad keeping Max in. Worst case is he gives up a solo HR vs Raleigh. Varland or anyone down there probably would as well.
