In his speech this week, he went on to say that Israel was “bringing in humanitarian aid because we have no choice. We are in a situation that requires international legitimacy to conduct this war.”

I've been avoiding this thread, but I just have to jump in on this comment as you keep using these fools as your ticket to brushing an entire group of people with the same stroke.

Maybe you should remove yourself from your echo chambers and read what actual Israelis and Jews around the world believe. You know, the ones trying to just go about their everyday life in Israel, and around the world, without being targeted and hated for the actions of a few.

The VAST majority HATE that these people are elected officials and want nothing more than to have them and the right-wing government removed. Unfortunately, that is not possible in the current timeline so we are forced to deal with these extremists within the government. Essentially every government on earth has these fringe maniacs - but for some reason when they are Israeli - they represent EVERYONE.

This is no different than claiming ALL Americans are hateful, bigoted, racist Trump lovers. Be better. This circle jerk thread is embarrassing and just further proof that all you who believe you are being ethical, moral and right, are really just driving us further apart.

I think it is just as harmful to broadly stroke all Gazans with the same brush and you absolutely have me red-handed in that I have not defended them in this thread - fair call. I will admit there has been absolutely abhorrent comments coming from both sides of the argument in this thread.

That was an expert deflection though - as has been the case the few times I have commented here and the main reason why I avoid discussion.

Again, my point is that you are doing exactly what you are accusing the "pro-israel" side of doing. Why is it acceptable for you to do it, but not others?

I simply noticed a trend that I have seen in recent days and commented on it. Also - I admitted that I have not defended Gazans. Will you admit where you have gone wrong? That is how we move forward as a society.

The trend since the very beginning of this thread where All Gazans were deemed guilty and rotten to the core and Hamas by default and anyone defending their slaughter was pretty much the same?

I'm genuinely curious why that didn't trigger you?

Yet when the same standards are applied you get upset?

This guy is a RECENTLY elected senior official and most likely will be reelected.

Can you imagine a politician in any other country saying that?

What I'm saying is, if Israel wants to hold a whole population accountable for the actions of their so called leaders then should they not expect the same?

This is their elected representative. Their voice/projection to the world.
