The Flames shut them out and allowed 16 shots on net.
It would be embarrassing if team NG didn't beat them.

Not sure if serious?
Surely, no adult human-being could be that obtuse?
Anyone have video of this debacle?

Edmonton rarely beats contender teams, but seems to be fed a lot of terrible teams early.
The second half of the season is going to be miserable for them. Edmonton has the 15th hardest schedule of remaining games.

I don't think we are really into strength of schedule territory yet.
The difference between the easiest and hardest schedule on that list is about 3.5 points on average, and pretty much every team in the west has the same list of easiest and hardest opponents remaining, so the list pretty much reads like the standings in reverse order, because the key change for each team is extracting themselves as a potential opponent.
Looking forward in their schedule it seems pretty balanced for both Alberta teams, I would expect Calgary and Edmonton to stay middle of the pack in terms of schedule strength. I just think the Oilers are the team we've seen, an aging bubble team hoover in the wrong side of the bubble (anyone who was a Flames fan 10 years ago should be intimately familiar with who they are).

Just a clueless lame organization, and I wish the worst on them

Has anyone ever done this? I don't remember a celebration like this. I guess you celebrate what you can.
Also, I think it is pretty offside to comment on his girlfriend's looks like that. She is okay, but calling her a dog? That is not cool. Wait. Huh? What? Did he bring his actual dog onto the ice? Hahahahaha.

Has there ever been a player bring their pet onto the ice? Like I'm starting to wonder, is there actually some sort of "Cringe" competition going on up there? Normal people don't behave or do the things that happen up there.

Here's Leon attempting to put a silver dog bone necklace on it. So very cringe.

Well, the one thing we know for sure about that dog—seeing as how it lives in McAvi’s low-ceilinged mansion—is that it can’t possibly be Air Bud…

So he hit 1000 three weeks ago (Nov 14) and are doing this now? Seems weird that they didn't do this back during their home games on the 21st and 23rd.

Big boys don't need 1000th point celebrations.
But I suppose when you can't actually win you have to look for other, stupider reasons to pat yourself on the back.
