If we can prevent the CG from Cole that would be a win in of itself.

Hahahaha.
Despite his best effort, he didn't hit into the double play.

Watched it on tape, so couldn't participate in the chat, but was against putting Pearson in, because I thought the game was still winnable. He only gave up the one run, but that run ended up being massive. If its 4-3 instead of 5-3, there would have been massive pressure on the pitcher. Even at 4-1, with the bases loaded.

Oh well, can't win them all.

Really tough turn-around today, with a 6:40 game at the Trop, after a long flight.

With Rays winning and O's losing last night they are only 1.5 games back of 1st, TB will be motivated.

Hopefully rhe Jays are more motivated.

Got an alert that Kiermeier said he wants to play on grass. Also he wouldn’t mind playing for the Yankees. Very interesting that he’s saying that now. I thought of all guys they should make an attempt to keep him but he’s clearly looking for a premium. At his age I’m out. OF’s are a dime a dozen. Hope they can get move on from him and Chapman and break the bank on a legit star. This season has been rough.

Potential first round matchup too. Get at least a couple wins and give yourself some confidence if indeed it becomes a first round matchup
