Concord fans — we’ve been listening closely to your feedback since the launch of Concord on PlayStation 5 and PC and want to thank everyone who has joined the journey aboard the Northstar. Your support and the passionate community that has grown around the game has meant the world to us.
However, while many qualities of the experience resonated with players, we also recognize that other aspects of the game and our initial launch didn’t land the way we’d intended. Therefore, at this time, we have decided to take the game offline beginning September 6, 2024, and explore options, including those that will better reach our players.
While we determine the best path ahead, Concord sales will cease immediately and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased the game for PS5 or PC. If you purchased the game for PlayStation 5 from the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct, a refund will be issued back to your original payment method.
Star Trucker plopped in to Gamepass today and it’s great! Some other cool stuff on the way this month in the newest Mudrunner game, and Age of Mythology as well.

Concord might be the biggest flop in gaming history. I'll be surprised if they bother re-launching it at all.
The only thing at this point that seems somewhat likely is to give refunds to all people who bought the game and re-launch it as free to play.
The interesting/sad thing here is that there is going to be an episode in the new Amazon Prime series Secret Level that takes place in Concord's universe.
Which might make launching as FTP after the release of the episode an interesting possibility.

Yep - it's wild that Sony thought they really had the next big thing with this game and it's just straight face-planted. There is a slim chance they pursue the F2P route but at this point it's just throwing more money at a failed product at the risk of being embarassed again.
It is nice to see the market speaking on turds like this and Suicide Squad though.
Early Test Drive Unlimited release is not going well apparently, lol. Server issues are rampant an reviews are getting bombed 'like nobody's ever seen before'
Looking for a online coop game to play with a buddy tonight. We're considering Risk of Rain 2 or Deep Rock Galactic. Does anyone have any suggestions? We have played through all the dark souls games together but are open to anything really.

Looking forward to playing Astro Bot with my 6 year old. She absolutely loves Astros playroom.
Nice, I just picked it up to play with my 5 year old. He loved the Astro's Playroom that came with the PS5. Also the PSVR Astro Bot Rescue Mission just blew me away as my introfuction to modern VR. Too bad PS fumbled the ball terribly with PSVR2. I can't wait for my kid to be old enough to try the VR version. Honestly, it is just amazing. I Hope you guys enjoy the game.

I still remember the first time I dropped into the Astro Bot VR mini game on the first PSVR. Zero understanding of what it was and going in completely unaware... probably one of the greatest gaming joys I've ever experienced.
I'm having a lot of fun with Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2. Playing the second hardest difficulty, it's challenging and gets to be almost From Software hard at points but my buddies and I are really enjoying the campaign and PvE. I highly recommend it.

Agreed, I'm also playing on the second hardest difficulty and getting my ass handed to me at times, it's enjoyable!
