It's understandable, the thread title is misleading, you've accidently wandered into the US Democrat fan club. Anyone who has any criticism is pounced on by the gang that hangs out here 24/7. Just say something bad about Republicans or insult religious people and they'll like you again.

That would be one of the conclusions you could draw. The other path would be to realize you're reading posts on a forum populated mostly by dyed-in-the-wool Alberta conservatives, yet almost all of them see the conservative side in this election as being ridiculous at best and dangerous at worst... and go from there.

You know that crazy, mildly irritating, fawning, almost cult-like adoration that some people like Resurrection have for Bernie Sanders?
That's me for Bill. #### I love listening to this guy talk. And I don't think I'm alone. This guy could've won ten straight terms. I don't even care if he's a snake oil salesman, Hitch; he's just the best. And if anyone can make Hillary endearing to the average person, it's him. He's doing a spectacular job from my biased perspective.
Compare this to the 2008 speech, though! That was a full on policy-wonk, tax plan citing "it's math, idiots" intellectual treatise. Now he's telling stories about a woman who if you didn't know her at all beforehand, you'd think was the greatest woman who ever lived. The man can do anything.

She basically said Trump was the best, and that's it. No personal stories. Sounded like she didn't even know him.
Bill is reminiscing over and over again, and using each story to show strengths of hers. It's pretty much what I thought he'd do, and he's doing a good job.

^Seriously man. I want to go down south, get a fake identity, commit voter fraud, get my name on the rolls and write in an utterly meaningless vote for Bill.

Something like that.

The gist of his point is that her Republican opponents have spent decades creating a fictional caricature of who Hillary Clinton is, and they're running against that person, not the "real" Hillary Clinton he knows.

Bill is amazing speaker and has charisma. The comments here that he should be president are complementary to him but he's showing you she has worked hard for years, is intelligent and he admires her hard work. No, he had his time. It's hers now.
